The H-Frame (RC) is a development of the Compactainer used as a standard in the Scandinavian market at all retailers including Norway, Sweden, Denmark and Finland. This was developed into the H-Frame to use the same efficient design principles but make a larger unit suitable for Coles Myers Limited (CML) in Australia. This unit is now the standard in Australia (in excess of 200 000 units already supplied) and also used in France at Intermachē. In South Africa, Pick n Pay, Massdiscounters and Shoprite have adopted this as their standard.

The H-Frame is a two-sided low cost RC specifically designed to maximise vehicle utilisation and stability of the load in transport to the stores. This RC is designed to maximise on the benefits of a rolltainer vs. a pallet. The wheels are at the corners for maximum stability, the nesting efficiency is the highest of any rolltainer design. The shelf in the middle adds to stability of the load and minimum damage of products. The large size maximises vehicle utilisation. The simple construction makes for low cost operation and simple maintenance and repair costs. The inherent flexibility of the design reduces impact damage to less than half of any comparative design.

The H-Frame is also flexible to be used with a 3rd or even a 4th side if so requested. Additional loose shelves can be supplied as well as a hanging garment rail. This means that out of one basic unit, complete modular family of units can be available to suit any particular need in your supply chain.

Technology:
Even though we are faced with a devaluating Rand and international steel price increases, the effective pricing of our roll containers is the result of the production efficiency of K.Hartwall. The sandwich wheel with precision sealed roller ball bearings, unique to K.Hartwall, is rated at 250kg per wheel vs. the industry standard of 200kg per wheel. This allows a higher impact loading with less risk at the same time giving extended life and reduced maintenance. The sandwich construction allows for low noise and impact on floors preventing any damage to tiles in stores and allowing for easy rolling with minimal resistance.

All rolltainers that we supply come with a full one year product guarantee from K.Hartwall. The only exclusion is damage and abuse. The plating and varnishing should give in excess of 10 yrs life. Full salt spray tests have resulted in white rust at 130 hours. The noise levels of the rolltainers are tested below 70db and largely due to the composite wheels and noise deadening features used, which are exclusive to K.Hartwall.
All rolltainers are produced on automated production lines with very high tolerances and metal is laser cut with robotic welding. In the design and testing process all high load areas and impact points are identified and reinforced, fatigue failure is reduced by annealing welds and using cold welding processes where applicable as well as the laser cutting. All roll containers undergo rigorous design and laboratory testing before production with a continuous improvement program, making the K.Hartwall brand recognised as the leader in quality products worldwide.
We are able to offer on large production quantities (on orders over 1000 units) the option of having all square tubing pre-stamped with your company's name and other information. This adds to the security and ability to reduce losses. Smaller orders will be stamped in plant. The order of pre-stamped tubing does add a 2 -3 week lead time however a simple name stamping done in plant is also possible without any lead time effect. Each rolltainer is also stamped on the side with your company's name, the date of manufacture and a serial number. In addition all rolltainers have a safety sticker.
